Statement
The unattainable aspiration of achievement of perfection is a matter that runs throughout my work. I explore this subject through the challenge of domestic and religious traditions, as well as the investigation of entropy. These subjects may be explored through different sculptural mediums such as found objects, wood, steel, and plaster. Most recently, these themes have been conveyed through live gallery performances and video documentation. Through these objects and documentations, I wish to encapsulate the exhaustion and anxiety of a fight for purpose that ceases to exist, and the grief that ensues after failure.
